Polished punch edges for EDM special shapes
Sink EDM machining is required for punches with special forms with inside corners or edges. The problem is that this type of machining results in a rough surface on the sides of the punch
shape. This rough surface can result in galling of the punch, especially when punching stainless steel.

Special shape punches can be completely polished if required. We pay special attention to the direction of the polishing to insure it's the same as the direction of the punching.
